Here is our offering to those who want to imagine a world where Shimano STI never came to be.

Built using the Dia-Compe GC08 levers. Hoods in Gum but you can also order Black or White replacement hoods from Dia-Compe if you so choose.

Option of purchase with the excellent matching Dia-Compe ENE Friction Levers for a mount and go solution or can also be had 'naked' without levers if you want to experiment with mounting various other vintage shift levers!

If we are out of stock of the sets with shift levers then we recommend grabbing a set without shift levers and then purchasing some excellent Rivendell Silver Shifters here (LINK) These are internally exactly the same as our ENE Gran Compe levers but with a sleeker look. Our levers are as pictured at the top of the page.

What's In The Bag?

A pair of GC levers either naked (without shift levers) or with the Dia-Compe ENE Friction levers mounted. A pair of spiffy brass cable ferrules (because these deserve them!).

What Levers Can You Mount?

We had a quick go with levers we had on hand and found them reasonably fuss free with our examples. The only one of those pictured below that was an issue was the Campagnolo as the cable take up groove on it was a bit out of alignment with our cable hanger location. This is a reasonably easy fix however with the addition of a 2mm spacer between the shift lever and the mount and a longer mounting bolt.

Please note that more modern levers such as those compatible with newer MTB derailleurs will NOT fit on these mounts. If you want to mount larger shift levers for newer MTB derailleurs then grab a set of our OM shift systems which you can mount pretty much anything to! (LINK)
